Whent ahead and bit the bullet. Got a 4700 HST, folding ROPS, R1's 460 FEL, Rhino 500 series Scrape Blade. (and a hard canopy- my wife's idea)It was on his lot and the only upgrade beyond that was telescoping draft links.<br>I wanted 16.9 tires but that would have complicated the deal. Delivered price with rear tires loaded right @ 26K. Drives like a dream. At least in his parking lot. It's going to arrive tuesday.Since this is my first tractor I'll probably be posting a lot of question. Thanks to everyone as this place has been the best to learn what I needed to get this deal right.Doc Robbs

After waiting for nearly everything else to get done I'm ready to get my tractor. I found a 4700 HST R1's DSCV for 21,400. A 460 Loader is already attached for 3,800.Seemed like the perfect tractor for me until I found out the 4000 TEN tractors are due out next month. Now I'm torn I've waited a couple of years to get this tractor a couple of months won't hurt. However this tractor is just sitting there ready to be picked up form the dealer. I was thinking it should have most of the kinks worked out. ie new front axle, new dash and all that.Things are right for me to buy now but I would hate to get this and in another month be drooling over the inhancements.What you guys think?

I went out and drove them both (4300 HST/4600 Powreverser--) JD and Kubota.<br>Was going to decide based on if I wanted HST I would go orange. After driving <br>the 4600 and working a loader there was no comparison in my mind. Had to go <br>JD Green.<br>The controls, steering, pedals all felt where I wanted them and I felt at home.<br>Felt out of place with the Kubota. Am now waiting for /trying to find a 4600 HST. Dealer say I may have to wait till DEC!<br>That isn't because they aren't making them. it's because they can't fill the <br>demand. One source told me they had converted other othe assembly lines and <br>increased production 60+% and they are still behind.<br>I think there are some folks who have decided with me to wait and go green.<br>I wouldn't fault anyone who felt different, the Kubota is a fine machine.<br>Some like Ford's, some like Chevy's, and some will shoot you if you don't agree.<br>God Bless, I hope you are as happy with your decision in 2 years wich ever one it is.<br>David

The answer is highly variable. It depends on the quality of fuel when you bought it.<br>In general one year without stabilizer has been a standard answer I received.<br>It can easily be stabilized for much longer. The best stuff I have found is PRI-D.<br>See the web page below. Would also check out info from Chevron, and

(http://www.skylarfund.com/). They are comming from a diesel generator point of view
however good clean diesel principles should apply also to tractors.

Was just at the Ashville,NC NH dealer. Had 2 of the smaller TC tractors, I can't remember the number. He also had a 1720 with a Woods loader, brand new, quoted me $16,200. Had a used 1715 with Bushhog loader (didn't look as good) for $12,000 with ~600 hours.<br>Looked at the
